The only reason this piece is a self portrait is because
when I had the idea, I had no other subject for the reference photo. It was like many of my personal symbolic pieces...the
idea just popped into my head...an image to go along with some emotion or idea.
Secret is about something (specifically love) that you decide you can't let be
exposed...but it shines so bright that the light of it is seen no matter how you try to hide it. It's kind of going along
with the idea behind "Facade", but with a different subject, different pose, and slightly different attitude.
